1. Who we are

The site is operated by Gabriel Soares, using the KofeTech brand, from Portugal. You can reach us at hello@kofetech.com.

2. What this site is

KofeTech is a small studio that designs and builds websites and landing pages for Portuguese-speaking businesses, with clients in Brazil, Portugal and the United States.

The site exists to present our work, explain how we work, and let you contact us or book a call. We do not sell products or services directly through the site.

3. No binding offer

The site does not show prices. Its content is for information only and is not a contractual offer or a binding quote.

Sending a message through the form or booking a call creates no obligation for you or for us. Quotes are prepared after we talk, and a project only starts once both parties accept a written proposal or contract that sets out the scope, timeline, price and other conditions. If these terms conflict with that contract, the contract prevails.

4. Intellectual property

The text, design, logo, KofeTech brand, code and other elements of the site belong to KofeTech or are used under license.

Projects shown in the portfolio belong to KofeTech and/or the respective clients and are displayed with their permission. Client brands and logos belong to their owners.

You may view the site and share links to its pages for personal use or to evaluate our services. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or commercially use the site's content, including portfolio images, without our prior written permission, except where the law allows it.

5. Acceptable use

When using the site, you agree not to:

• send spam, bulk automated messages, or illegal, offensive or misleading content through the form;
• try to bypass the anti-bot protection or gain unauthorized access to the admin area or any other system;
• introduce viruses, malicious code or anything that harms the site's operation;
• scrape or automatically extract content at a volume that overloads the site;
• impersonate another person or company when contacting us.

6. Third-party links and services

The site includes links to third-party services such as our Google Calendar appointment page, Instagram, LinkedIn and GitHub. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them.

We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

7. Availability and accuracy

We do our best to keep the site available and its information correct and up to date, but the site is provided as is. There may be interruptions, errors or outdated information, and we may change, suspend or remove content at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, KofeTech is not liable for indirect damages or losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, nor for decisions made solely on the basis of the site's informational content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, for example in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, nor does it affect rights granted to you by the consumer protection laws of your country that cannot be waived by contract.

9. Privacy

How we handle the personal data you send us through the site is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. This choice does not deprive you of the protection given by the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, including Brazil's Consumer Defense Code and applicable US state laws, where they apply.

Before taking any other step, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter amicably. If that is not possible, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts under applicable law. Consumers resident in Portugal may also use an alternative consumer dispute resolution body.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the site or to the law. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page, and the version in force is the one published when you use the site.
